The Friends of Longford Park (FOLP) strongly oppose housing on Ryebank Fields, a key issue being the visual impact on the Park (which is a Conservation Area). FOLP has commissioned professional visualisations to illustrate this, click on link for more details.

Festival Opening times are as follows
Christmas Tree Festival in St Matthew’s Church Stretford on Friday 13th (3-8pm), Saturday 14th (10am-6pm) and Sunday 15th (12noon-4pm) December.
Well worth a look at all the brilliant trees.

Tree Amigos are selling trees from Monday 25th November.
Health Walk and Litter pick cancelled for Sunday 24th November
Both events have been cancelled this month due to the adverse weather conditions. Many of the paths in the park are already flooded.
Tiny Library
Longford park now has a tiny library fixed to the wall of Firswood Community Centre. Feel free to put any children’s or adults’ books in if you have any.
