Christmas Tree Festival in St Matthew’s Church Stretford on Friday 13th (3-8pm), Saturday 14th (10am-6pm) and Sunday 15th (12noon-4pm) December.

Tennis Improvement Project

Work is due to start on a scheme to update and improve a number of tennis courts across Trafford.

A total of eight courts will be refurbished as part of Trafford Council’s Pilot Park Tennis Investment and Sustainability programme.

The first two courts to benefit are Longford Park, Stretford, and Ashton Park, Sale. Work is due to start on the two-month long rebuild of Longford Park court on April 29, 2024, and at the Ashton Park court on May 7.
