The contractor acted quickly to lay the base surface and installation of the table followed shortly after. For the time being, those wanting to play will have to bring their own equipment. We had planned to provide a loan facility via the café –
as with frisbees – but both options are on hold while Covid restrictions remain in place. The site was carefully chosen to provide shelter from wind and to be in a busy place, where vandalism hopefully might be avoided. The site seems to be more popular with birds than anticipated – so you might want to bring a wet cloth with your equipment.
