a large area beyond the line of trees on the eastern boundary of the Park. This proposal is firmly opposed by Friends of Longford Park, see attached link, and we are working closely with the other campaign groups, Friends of Ryebank Fields (FORF) and Trafford Ryebank Residents’ Association. All three groups are calling on Manchester Council to designate the area as a Local Green Space, as a response to the Manchester Local Plan.
