About Us
Friends of Longford Park (Stretford, Manchester) are a group of local people who work with Trafford Council to improve and promote the park as a vibrant local facility for the whole community.
The Friends have held many successful events ranging from social nights, health walks, music/art/crafts/international festivals, drama events, teddy bears’ picnics, christmas carols, tree planting, brass bands, youth activity days and have helped in the creation of a wildlife garden.

Friends of Longford Park act as a voice for the local people to influence its facilities and future developments.
New members will be made very welcome and your involvement can be as much or as little as you have time for, e.g. helping out at one of the events handing out publicity or being part of the committee. New members and additional support is always welcome.
